Urban Chestnut is celebrating Oktoberfest this Friday *and* Saturday in The Grove. Make sure you stop in and see us here at Serendipity!

From Noon to 11:30 pm*, enjoy live music, traditional German fare, stein holding contests, German pronunciation games, and a silent disco.

This is an indoor/outdoor event. No tickets required. All ages welcome. Pets welcome at Oktoberfest and on Serendipity’s Pooch Patio.

*Note: Serendipity open from Noon to 10 pm. There is still time to get out your best Dirndl and Lederhosen. We can’t wait to see you!

Downton Abbey Ice Cream at Hi-Pointe Theatre & Serendipity

Partnering with Hi-Pointe Theatre
and Show Me The World Project

Serendipity is excited about the new Downton Abbey movie and we have collaborated with Hi-Pointe Theatre and Show Me The World Coffee and Tea to create a couple of treats to celebrate the occasion.

We created Earl Grey Tea ice cream (using Show Me The World Tea) that you can get this weekend at Hi-Pointe Theatre when they screen the first two Downton Abbey films. Try this delicious citrusy tea flavor!

Next Weekend: “The Grand Finale” will
release everywhere. Visit Serendipity!

Scoops of Earl Grey Tea ice cream will be available at our ice cream shop in The Grove starting next Friday, September 12th. Choose a cup or cone! Or create your own sundae, shake, or malt!

We will also be serving two ice cream sandwiches made with our fresh Strawberry ice cream and authentic British biscuits (cookies), our unique twist on Strawberries and Cream.

If you would like to dress up and eat these delicious treats with your pinky in the air. we won’t judge. And as the weather gets colder, we will have a “cuppa” waiting for you.

Banana Split Week: Aug 19-24
We’ve always celebrated Banana Split Day. However, since it falls on Monday, we’re going bananas with 4 special splits all week long.

Banana Split: Chocolate, Strawberry, and Vanilla scoops with chocolate syrup, warm caramel, fresh strawberry topping, and roasted pecans. Plus, whipped cream and cherry.

Chocolate Elvis Split: 3 scoops of Gold Coast Chocolate ice cream with marshmallow and peanut butter toppings. Plus, whipped cream and cherry. Good enough to be “King!”

Summer Split: Lemon Blueberry, Strawberry, and Peach scoops with blueberry, strawberry, and peach toppings. Plus, whipped cream and cherry. Every bite is a taste of sunshine!

Chip Split: Mint Chip, Raspberry Chip, and Mommy’s Little Helper (our Espresso Chip with a hint of bourbon) topped with hot fudge. Plus, whipped cream and cherry. You deserve it!

BOGO MILKshakes! “Harvey Milk Day” is celebrated every year on May 22nd in memory of Harvey Milk, a prominent gay rights activist who was assassinated in 1978. Stop by our ice cream shop that day and toast the memory of Harvey Milk with a BOGO MILKshake all day long!

DYK: Harvey Milk ran for office 3 times before becoming the first openly gay person elected to California public office, where he served as a city supervisor? Harvey Milk Day came about as a day to remember his work to stop discrimination against the LGBTQIA+ community.

Summer Hours Update. Good news! Our ice cream shop now opens at Noon Tuesday through Sunday, then stays open until 9 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday, and is open until 10 pm on Friday & Saturday. A few extra hours of fun in The Grove!
