Aug. 10th is the 200th anniversary of our statehood… and communities are commemorating the day with an “Ice Cream Social!” Nothing brings people together like ice cream, and an ice cream social is an appropriate way to celebrate since the ice cream cone is the official state dessert!
Serendipity is hosting an event that day. We will have TWO special ice cream flavors in the dip case as well as a special offer for a FREE Waffle Cone Upgrade that day (read below). We’re also serving our ice cream at the Field House Museum and the Webster Groves Hawken House.
"Show Me You're Nuts" is a Bourbon Walnut Toffee Ice Cream. This is a special all-Missouri collaboration with: Bourbon from StilL 630 (St. Louis, MO), Hammons Black Walnuts (Stockton, MO), and Belle Toffee (Kansas City, MO)
We are also serving Gooey Butter Ice Cream. Since Missouri and the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair is the birthplace of the ice cream cone, anyone who says "Show Me Your Waffle Cone" at the shop gets a FREE Waffle Cone Upgrade that day!
